Central
Hockey League The
Central Hockey League enters its 15th season of play in October having
led all North American professional "AA" leagues in average
attendance for five consecutive seasons, while also serving as the
only "AA" circuit to welcome over 4,000 fans per contest
for each of the last five regular and playoff seasons. The 2006-2007
CHL season will feature teams across nine states, continuing to provide
affordable family entertainment. |

NFL
Players Association The
National Football League Players Association is the officially recognized
union for NFL players. It represents players in matters concerning
wages, hours and working conditions and protects their rights. It
assures that terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement-a legally
binding relationship between workers and owners-with the National
Football League are met. It negotiates and monitors retirement and
insurance benefits. It provides other membership services and activities,
provides assistance to charitable and community organizations, and
enhances and defends the image of players and their profession on
and off the playing field. The NFLPA is a member of the AFL-CIO. |
